NCPA was created to help people in Northern California find adoptable animals in one easy to use website. We have already saved the lives of more than 50,000 animals and hope to save many more, by making the search for a new pet very easy.

Rescue and shelter organizations throughout Northern California participate in NCPA.

4. How many animals will a visitor typically find on the site?

On any given day will have an average of 300 adoptable animals available for viewing. The numbers go up and down as our rescue/shelter groups add new pets and take down adopted pets. Please check back as often as possible so you won't miss any pet. You can always sign up for pet email alerts as well.

The East Bay SPCA and Pet Food Express have partnered to create NCPA in an effort to help adopt out as many homeless pets throughout all of Northern California as possible.
